The IKON BMX Carbon Front Rim-20×1.75″ is a beautifully engineered, high-end rim. Uses a uni-directional Toray T700 carbon fiber weave for optimal strength. This rim has no brake surface and is intended to be used as a front rim, or both front and back if using a disc brake. It is also tubeless ready, so if you’d like to save even more weight and ditch the tubes you have the option. It will require a few items to make the conversion, such as a special valve, sealant rim tape, and liquid sealer….and don’t forget the tubeless specific tires. So, if you are serious about saving as much weight as possible, and let’s be honest, if you weren’t you wouldn’t be reading this right now, then this is the rim for you.
